All Products are grown naturally with minimum use of sprays.
No insecticides or fungicides used. These are premier fresh natural
seeds and oils. No Genetically modified seeds used.
About BayOils: Located on the shore
of Cloudy Bay Marlbough, BayOils produce high quality oils for
culinary, nutritional and cosmetic use.We extract oils using the
minimum of processing. To do this we use a screw press that mechanically
squeezes the oil from the seeds without the use of chemicals or
added heat. Any
sediment is removed by allowing it to settle. This retains as many
of the natural components of the oils as
possible. Nothing is added.
The oil processing is conducted by Dr. Glen Vile, a Bio-chemist who
only presses on demand, hence ensuring
only fresh oils are sold.
Seed production is the responsibility of Garth Neal, an experienced
arable farmer. Almost all of BayOils seeds
are grown in Marlbrough, the Gourmet Province of New Zealand.
Marlborough's unique dry and sunny climate
is ideal for the production of top quality seeds.
